Luke Mangan

Without doubt Australia’s top celebrity chef, Luke Mangan’s award winning restaurants include glass brasserie at the Hilton Sydney, The Palace in South Melbourne, Salt Grill on P&O’s Pacific Jewel, as well as Salt and World Wine Bar in Tokyo. His exquisitely designed signature dishes are also enjoyed by international business class passengers onboard Virgin flights across the Pacific.

In addition to running his international empire and providing a taste of celebrity in the air and on the high seas, Luke has written four best selling cookbooks, and launched his Luke Mangan Providores range.

Luke started his career in the 1980s in Melbourne as apprentice under Herman Schneider of “Two Faces” fame. Upon completing his training, he headed to Europe and convinced Michel Roux of the three Michelin starred Waterside Inn in London to employ him. Luke credits his success to these great chefs.
